Fed up with the rules and prohibitions they tell you?

Have you ever been on a diet? Well, about 45 million Americans go on a diet each year and they are spending a whopping 90 billion on it, year after year, only to gain more and more overweight as a result... But it´s not the weight - it´s the fat, that´s the problem. Cause oversized fat cells cause a lot of problems. And the consequences are dramatic indeed. Obesity is the root cause of many diseases, because it leads to impairments and disorders of your hormone balance, it damages your immune system and it increases the likelihood of inflammation. And it has his negative effects on your psyche too. In short, it ruins people´s lifes, and sadly for much without them realizing the extent of these negative effects. Obesity is a symptom of, and at the same time a major cause for the global health crisis we are facing... And the numbers are staggering: We spend every 5th dollar on combatting dieseases, or shall i better say on numbing it´s symptoms while worshipping it´s causes. 20% of our GDP is spent on our wedding dance with sickness. That bride´s a bitch and we need to wake up, kick her out of bed and look somewhere else, before it´s too late. Just imagine we´d exchange her for a beauty queen, best mom, career kicker lady. Just imagine, we would pump that amount in bettering in the quality of our lives. What a wonderful life. But inexplicably we worship the bitch: In 1980, there were 108 million diabetics worldwide; by 2024, there were already 540 million, and soon there will be one billion diabetics... And diabetes is a treacherous, serious disease with high risks - and even drugs like insulin do not really change too much with this. The picture of our society is alarming and it´s getting worse:

Now where did that lead us to? If we take all the overweight (70%), and add all the freaks with their rigorous set of rules (10%?), and then add all of those who are normal, but still quite far off from being in good shape (15%?), you see, that the naturally slim and fit (5%?) are a dying breed. What a tragedy! Cause everybody can be slim and fit and being at ease about it. But with the recommendations out there we are left with three main outcomes: breaking off, the yo-yo effect and being trapped in a questionable diet and fitness routine. And that is a routine, that will never ever be applicable to the majority of people. I been there, long enough, running 3 gyms, coaching people for 2 decades. It will never ever happen. And that´s why pushing this is gonna be to no avail. Its a political and social dead end street. And for everyone who´s not willing to play that prohibition and rules game - it sucks. The call, that people need to change their habits is a non-starter when you look a little behind the scenes of human psychology! So what´s the advice on that? If you are dieting, the best thing is to stop immediately, but it's even better not to start in the first place. So, in order to sum it up: With the advice out there, the most intelligent approach to the problem of being overweight ist surely to never start, and if you have tried once or more, and you have given up, it proves your sanity, cause on some level, your inner intelligence told you, that this game´s not getting you nowhere.
