do you work out in order to be fit and in shape?
Lacking motivation to work out?
I had been been running gyms for more than 20 years and I have always loved taking care of my members myself, as long as I still had time to do so. Yes, and one thing in particular struck me... When I joyfully said hello to my members, something like : “Hey, great to see you...” very often the answer was something along the lines of “yeah, neeed to ” Well that has been in Germany, and of course you can say, people over there are sometimes in a worse mood, than people in the US. Well, at least so it seems to me, when I compare the both. But, on the other hand, when I'm skiing or snowboarding and I talk to people, I can really feel much more happiness, joy in them, something like: "What a ride, perfect sun, I love the powder..." So, why is it then, that when it comes to fitness , so many people see it as a kind of compulsory program to stay fit and in shape? Training, nutrition, motivation - these are the slogans we are fed, but training and nutrition play the smallest role, and whenever you need to motivate yourself, things are on the wrong. And the reason ist: True motivation is all about not being in need of motivation at all! You might say, what´s the difference, so let me explain: "When you are experience those hunger pangs, how about your need of motivating yourself to eat something then? Well, this should be a sensation, most folks experience not too often. So just imagine, that training works the same way as eating. So it´s like all of a sudden, and just like eating on a constant basis, you experience that urge, that immense energy, that´s hard to stop, that you need to work out now. Hey guys watch out. Nobody touching me. I gotta head for the gym now. Can´t wait no more. And now we got it. Cause that's exactly how it works when we do it right. And the answer is mental biohacking!
