You want to lose weight?
Many people believe that losing weight is as simple as eating less than you consume. This is wrong. It may work, but only in the short term and only for those who like to fight or who prioritize their figure goals over everything else in life. Our research has shown, that you can even gain fat if you are beating yourself up with a substantial calorie deficit. So this makes absolutely no sense. Yes, you heard that one right. It makes absolutely no sense to just follow the advice you hear from almost everyone, to watch your diet and to exercise!
Let's be honest – there are basically two types of people who are slim: those with the right genes and those who make themselves slaves to their fitness and figure goals.
And that raises only one question: If you want to lose weight, which of these two groups do you want to belong to? And that shows that it's not about losing weight at all, but about changing your genetic code. Yes, in fact almost every attempt to lose weight is the perfect training to gain weight, and it doesn't really matter which tip, which diet or which plan you follow.
For some people, a change in diet and more exercise may work. That´s the one who like to fight and beat themselves up and even feel heroic about that. But there is nothing heroic to that. One thing is for sure - these people never reach their true potential, and if they come close, you can bet, there´s some PED in the game. I have coached thousands of people, and I can tell you, that for the most the following applies: They can still gain weight even if they save 1000 calories a day.
So this is even tragic: Most of the advice that you are so generously showered with is misleading to most folks. I really beg you - please don't worry if this kind of approach hasn't worked out for you so far. It's not your fault! You've just been taken for a ride. Our problem is, that we have been drowned in so called scientific evidence, studies what works and what calories are and so on. But science is always just looking at bits and pieces, they are not getting the big picture.
